Remote U.S. software jobs from Latin America

American product companies and agencies hire software engineers and AI engineers in Latin America as full members of their teams, with hours that overlap with the United States.

What the work looks like

Software engineers join a U.S. team's normal rhythm: stand-ups, planning, code reviews and regular releases. The stack depends on the company. React, Node.js, Python, .NET and mobile are the ones we are asked about most.

AI engineers build real features on large language models. That means connecting models to company data, designing prompts and tools, measuring quality and running the result in production. A strong software background is what matters most.

Written English does much of the work on these teams, in specifications, pull requests and chat. Being able to explain your decisions clearly counts as much as the code.

Questions about these jobs

Which programming languages do you hire for?

We are asked most often for JavaScript and TypeScript with React and Node.js, Python, .NET and mobile. List your strongest stack in your application, along with how many years you have used it.

What does an AI engineer need to know?

Solid software engineering first, usually in Python or TypeScript, and experience shipping applications on large language models to real users. Machine learning research experience is useful, but it isn't required for most of these roles.

Do I have to work exactly U.S. hours as an engineer?

You need enough overlap to join meetings and work with your team. How much depends on the company, and your recruiter tells you what a role expects before you meet the company.
