What to expect when you apply for a remote role with a U.S. company through us, from the application to your first interview.
The basics
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Our service is free for candidates, always.
Can I work remotely from Latin America?
Yes. We recruit English-speaking professionals across Latin America for full-time remote roles on U.S. teams, and you work from home. See the countries we recruit in.
Will I work U.S. hours?
Yes. You work the same business hours as your U.S. team. Because time zones in Latin America are close to U.S. ones, that is usually a normal daytime schedule where you live.
How good does my English need to be?
You use English every day with your team, in meetings, calls and writing. The application asks for your level, and if your profile fits, your first call with a recruiter is in English.
Applying
How do I apply?
Choose a role on our job openings page and select Apply. The form takes a few minutes: your details, your experience, an optional video introduction and a final check before you send it. Don't see your role? Register for future roles from your country.
How does the video introduction work?
You record a short video with the camera on your phone or computer, and we show the questions on screen while you record. About 30 seconds per question is perfect, and the video can be up to 3 minutes. You can upload a video file instead, or send your application without one.
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes. Apply for each role that matches your experience. You can also join our talent network once, and we reach out when a role fits you.
After you apply
What happens after I apply?
A recruiter reads every application. If your profile fits, we invite you to a short call in English. Then we present you to the employer, with your video if you added one, prepare you for each interview and stay with you through onboarding.
How long does it take?
It depends on the role and on the employer's interview schedule. If your profile fits a role, a recruiter contacts you to arrange the next step. New roles open often, so it's worth applying again when a new one matches your experience.
Privacy and contact
Who sees my application and video?
Only General Staffing recruiters and the employers you are presented to. With your agreement on the application form, we share your profile with employers for the role you applied to and similar roles. Employers don't see your email or phone number unless they need them later, for example to arrange an interview. Read our Privacy Policy.
