Project & operations management

Hire an operations manager who makes the business run better

We recruit experienced, English-speaking operations managers from Mexico and Latin America to own your processes, metrics and day-to-day execution alongside your U.S. leadership.

Also hired as: Remote Operations Manager · Business Operations Manager · Ops Manager · Operations Lead · Director of Operations

What a nearshore Operations Manager does for you

An operations manager is responsible for how the work actually gets done. They map and fix processes, set the metrics that show whether things are working, manage the people or vendors doing the work, and turn leadership's goals into routines the team can follow every week.

The role looks different by industry. In e-commerce it centers on fulfillment, inventory and customer service; in logistics, on dispatch and carrier performance; in a services firm, on scheduling, delivery quality and capacity; in a SaaS company, on the internal systems that support sales, support and finance. Founders often hire one when they realize they are the company's only operations function.

Operations problems rarely wait. A warehouse delay, a staffing gap or a broken workflow needs a decision during the business day, often with your customers, vendors and leadership on the line. A nearshore operations manager works your hours, joins your leadership meetings live and can manage a team on either side of the border in real time.

Tell us which part of the business they'll own, the size of the team they'll lead and the systems you run on. We'll screen for operators who have managed similar processes, not just people with the title.

Hiring a remote Operations Manager: questions

Can a remote operations manager lead our U.S. team?

Yes. Many operations teams are already distributed and run through shared systems, dashboards and video calls. Because a nearshore manager works your business hours, they can manage people and resolve issues as they happen.

What's the difference between an operations manager and a project manager?

A project manager delivers a defined project with a start and finish. An operations manager runs the ongoing, repeatable work of the business and keeps improving it.

Do they need experience in our industry?

For most operations roles, yes. Fulfillment, logistics, service delivery and SaaS operations each need different instincts, so we screen for relevant experience.

Can they manage a team in Latin America for us?

Yes. Some clients hire an operations manager first, then build a team under them. A manager who shares the language and culture of the team can make that easier.

Do your operations managers have Lean or Six Sigma training?

Some do. If a specific certification matters for your role, tell us and we'll only present candidates who have it.

How long does it take to hire an operations manager?

Senior roles take more careful searching. On the strategy call we'll give you a realistic timeline for your role.
