What a nearshore Web Developer does for you
Your website is usually the first thing a customer sees, and it is rarely finished. A web developer builds new pages and features, connects forms and checkout flows to the systems behind them, fixes what breaks, and keeps the site fast, secure and working on every screen size.
Companies hire web developers when the backlog of site changes outgrows the marketing team or an agency retainer: service businesses with lead-generation sites, e-commerce brands, SaaS companies with a marketing site separate from the product, and agencies that build sites for clients. Some need a generalist who handles everything from HTML to hosting; others need someone focused on a specific stack or CMS.
Web work moves in short loops. Marketing needs a landing page live before a campaign, a form stops sending leads, a client wants one more change before launch. A developer in a nearby time zone can pick up those requests in the morning, show you a preview after lunch and push the change before you log off, instead of leaving you waiting overnight.
On the strategy call, tell us your stack (for example React, PHP, WordPress, Shopify or a headless CMS), who the developer will take requests from, and whether they'll manage hosting and deployments. We screen for that experience and for the ability to explain technical trade-offs in plain English.

Hiring a remote Web Developer: questions
What's the difference between a web developer and a web designer?
A designer decides how the site looks and how people move through it, usually in a tool like Figma. A web developer turns that design into working code and connects it to your forms, data and hosting. Some candidates do both, and we can screen for that if you need it.
Can a remote web developer work in our existing codebase and hosting?
Yes. You give them access to your repository, hosting and CMS the same way you would an in-house hire. They follow your branching, review and deployment process.
Do I need a front-end, back-end or full-stack developer instead?
If most of the work is marketing pages, CMS changes and small integrations, a web developer is usually the right fit. If you're building a complex application, a specialist front-end, back-end or full-stack developer may suit you better. We'll help you decide on the strategy call.
Will they handle SEO and site speed?
Most experienced web developers handle technical SEO such as page speed, metadata, structured data and clean URLs. Keyword research and content strategy are usually a separate role, such as an SEO specialist.
How quickly can we hire a web developer?
It depends on the stack and seniority you need. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the strategy call before the search begins.
Is the developer a freelancer?
No. Our placements are full-time team members dedicated to your company and working your business hours, not contractors juggling several clients.
