HR GeneralistWe recruit English-speaking HR generalists from Mexico and Latin America who handle onboarding, records, benefits administration and day-to-day employee questions for your U.S. team.Also: Remote HR Generalist, Human Resources Generalist, HR Specialist
What they do
- Run onboarding and offboarding, including new-hire paperwork
- Maintain employee records and data in the HRIS
- Support benefits enrollment, changes and leave paperwork
- Answer employee questions about policies, pay and benefits
- Coordinate with payroll, benefits and PEO providers
- Support managers with performance reviews and documentation
- Keep the employee handbook, job descriptions and HR forms current
- Help track training, compliance deadlines and HR reporting
What we screen for
- Clear, empathetic written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of U.S. HR processes, such as I-9 and onboarding paperwork
- Experience administering an HRIS
- Confidentiality with employee and pay information
- Organized record keeping and reporting
- Judgment about when to escalate sensitive issues
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR (a plus)

What they do
- Hold intake meetings with hiring managers to define each role
- Write and post job descriptions on job boards and social channels
- Source passive candidates through LinkedIn and other databases
- Screen resumes and run initial phone or video interviews
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring panels
- Keep candidate records and pipeline stages current in the ATS
- Present offers and manage candidate communication through close
- Report on pipeline health and hiring metrics
