Questions from Argentina
Is this a full-time role or project work?
The roles we fill are full-time seats on one U.S. company's team, meant to last. Before any interview, your recruiter goes over how that particular position is set up.
I'm a developer. Will there be a technical interview?
Usually, yes. Most U.S. companies run their own technical assessment. We tell you what to expect and help you prepare.
Can I apply from Córdoba, Rosario or a smaller city?
Yes. Location within Argentina does not matter. Your skills, your English and your work setup do.

Is this a long-term role or a freelance project?

Questions from Costa Rica
I already work for a multinational in Costa Rica. How is this different?
In a remote role through General Staffing, you join one U.S. company's team directly and work from home. You report to their managers and use their tools, without the commute to an office park.
What English level do I need?
Advanced. You will lead conversations, present ideas and write to colleagues and clients in English every day. A recruiter will speak with you in English during screening.
Do I need to live in the Central Valley?

- Reliable internet and a backup plan for power outages
- Availability for U.S. business hours
- A long-term outlook: you want one employer, not a string of short contracts
Questions from Dominican Republic
I have worked in a call center. Is that experience useful?
Very. It shows you can handle U.S. customers, work with metrics and communicate clearly under pressure. Many of the roles we recruit for build directly on that experience.
What happens if the power goes out during my shift?
Have a plan before it happens: an inverter or UPS for your equipment, and a mobile hotspot or second connection. We will ask about your setup during screening.
Will I work late?
Sometimes a little later than you might expect. You are one to two hours ahead of U.S. Central Time, so a team in Texas may keep you working into the early evening, especially in winter. East Coast teams line up more closely.

No. Every role we recruit for here is remote. You work from home in Ecuador on your U.S. team's schedule.
Does it matter which city I live in?
No. Candidates from Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Manta, Loja and smaller towns are all welcome. A reliable connection and the right experience matter much more than the city.

What level of English do I need?
You should be able to hold a professional conversation, follow fast discussions in meetings and write clearly. We check this in a short English conversation during screening.
Will I work my normal daytime hours?
Yes. El Salvador is on Central Time all year, so U.S. business hours fall within your regular day. Summer mornings start an hour earlier for East Coast teams.

Almost never. Guatemala is on the same clock as U.S. Central Time for part of the year and one hour behind it the rest of the year, so U.S. business hours fall during your normal day.
How good does my English need to be?
Good enough to lead a conversation on a call, write clear emails and ask questions when something is unclear. A recruiter will talk with you in English during screening so you know where you stand.
I live outside Guatemala City. Can I still apply?
Yes. Whether you are in Xela, Antigua or a smaller town, what matters is your experience, your English and a reliable connection where you work.

Questions from Haiti
Do I need to speak English, or are Creole and French enough?
Professional English is required for nearly every role, because you will work with a U.S. team. Creole and French are valuable extras, and some roles need them specifically.

Yes, if you have a backup. Many candidates use solar panels, batteries or an inverter, plus a mobile data plan. We will ask how you stay connected during screening.
Are the working hours the same as in the U.S.?
For East Coast teams, yes, exactly. For teams on U.S. Central Time, your day starts and ends one hour later on your clock.

Questions from Honduras
Can I apply from San Pedro Sula or other cities?
Yes. We recruit across Honduras. Your location inside the country matters far less than your experience, your English and your work setup.
What if my power or internet goes out?
Short outages happen in many places. We ask candidates to have a plan, such as a mobile hotspot or a backup location, so they can stay connected during working hours.
How is my English evaluated?
Through a conversation with a recruiter, in English, about your work. It is not a written exam; we want to see how you communicate in real situations.
