About the role
Source and recruit the leaders who run construction projects: Superintendents, Project Managers, Senior PMs, Project Executives, Directors of Construction and Preconstruction Managers, across sectors like data centers, industrial, cold storage, manufacturing, multifamily, education, healthcare and hospitality. You'll drive candidate generation and pipelines for construction leadership roles, working closely with recruiting consultants who own the client relationships.
What you'll do
- Find and engage passive construction leaders through calls, email, LinkedIn, industry networks and referrals, with consistent daily outreach.
- Assess candidates on project size, scope, delivery method, sector, leadership responsibility and career progression.
- Run in-depth qualification calls and tell genuine project leaders apart from project-support or trade backgrounds.
- Prepare accurate candidate summaries and shortlists, coordinate interviews and support candidates through offers.
- Build talent maps by role, geography, contractor, project type and sector; keep the ATS/CRM 90%+ accurate.
- Work toward agreed activity KPIs and a monthly candidate-generated placement revenue target of $15,000.
What you bring
- Direct experience sourcing and recruiting construction project leaders (not trades, labor or junior project support).
- Strong understanding of construction titles, reporting structures, project types and leadership responsibilities.
- English C1+.
- Full-time on Central Time, 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm, with occasional after-hours flexibility.
- A quiet private workspace, your own laptop, dependable internet and backup internet and power.
Nice to have
- Sector experience in data centers, industrial, cold storage, manufacturing, retail, multifamily, K-12, healthcare or hospitality.
- Structured, independent work style with strong ownership and follow-through.
