About the role
U.S. companies and CPA firms ask us for accountants who can own the month-end close and explain the numbers clearly. You work remotely from Latin America as part of a U.S. finance team. Apply once and we'll reach out when an accounting role fits your experience.
What you'll do
- Own or support the month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements under U.S. GAAP for review.
- Review payables, receivables and fixed asset records.
- Support budgets, variance analysis and management reports.
- Help with audit and tax preparation requests from outside advisors.
What you bring
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a degree in accounting or finance.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage or a similar system.
- Strong Excel and advanced English for reports and calls.
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet and a quiet place to work.
Nice to have
- Experience at a U.S. CPA firm.
- A CPA license or progress toward one.
